After meeting with Dr. Hanson the first time, he did an amazing job of laying out how my healing would proceed, and gave me a good timeline of what to expect. Then gave me the adjustments he could to help start the healing. After that he, along with his amazing massage therapist and physical therapist, have helped me work toward the long term healing, and staying healthy. Overall, their treatment is top notch on all fronts, and they have a very warm family feel there. I would recommend this establishment to anyone!

I took my 89 year old mother-in-law to see Dr Hanson for her severe neuropathy. His evaluation was very helpful, and his friendly, professional team introduced her to all of the therapies that could relieve her discomfort. The treatments were not too aggressive for her, and they made her feel better. They suggested a flexible program that would improve her condition and balance, but not be too tiring nor require visits beyond her resolve. I was impressed with their facility and equipment. The atmosphere was athletic, cheerful, comfortable, and my hard to please mother-in-law felt cared for and found relief.

We have been taking our son to Dr. Hanson for a number of years for overall health. Dr. Hanson has introduced us to some things, both in his adjustment technique and in exercises that we can do with our son that have helped him with his focus and attention. These things have benefited him greatly in school. When we come in we are always warmly greeted by his staff and we always leave feeling we have been cared for in a professional manner. Dr. Dan is great!

The last time I checked, I knew of only one other chiropractor in the state of Washington that held this degree. Because of his advanced knowledge,he uses many types of modes in his office to heal the nervous system. I can honestly say that whenever I see Dr. Hanson, my pain is relieved quickly, and his methodology is painless.

I feel so confident in Dr. Hanson's ability I am now taking my two children (8 and 10yrs old) for a few adjustments. Without going to see him in Aug. 2011, I would still be confined to the couch, depressed and full of anxiety. Thank you Dr. Hanson and your wonderful staff for helping me get my life back!

I became a patient of Dr. Hanson many years ago, after being to many chiropractors. Dr. Hanson is the utmost professional, and has an advanced Neurological Degree, which means he puts in many additional academic hours each year. To my knowledge, this is rare. He understands the nervous system impeccably, and once you are in his office, you will notice that he has all kinds of neat equipment that goes beyond the "traditional" chiropractic office. His method of adjusting your back, is very gentle-which is super important when you are hurting.
About The American Chiropractic Neurology Board
The American Chiropractic Neurology Board is the sole specialty board in neurology recognized by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA). The ACNB’s Diplomate program has achieved accreditation by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
what is a Chiropractic Neurologist?
A chiropractic neurologist is a Doctor of Chiropractic or the equivalent that has taken 300 post-doctoral hours of coursework in functional neurology and passed the rigorous written and performance exams required for certification by the ACNB. We call these doctors Diplomates of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB). They use the patient’s body and environment to assess, diagnose and localize areas of dysfunction. The human body systems are constantly affecting the neurological system and being effected by the neurological system. Our doctors use this functional and holistic approach to target interventions specific to the location of the dysfunction.
The chiropractic neurologist uses the muscular skeletal system and the sensory systems as they interact with the neurological system to improve quality of life. They use a variety of treatment modalities including the technique of adjustment as well as other sensory-based modalities to bring about improvements in health.
Who tests and regulates chiropractic neurologists?
The American Chiropractic Neurology Board provides the testing and credentialing for chiropractic neurologists. “The Diplomate Program in Neurology Certification” awarded by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board is fully accredited by the National Commission for Certification Agencies (NCCA), the accreditation body of the National Organization of Competency Assurance (NOCA). The American Chiropractic Neurology Board is the only specialty certification agency for the Chiropractic Profession that is fully accredited by NCCA. NCCA’s standards exceed the requirements set forth by the American Psychological Association and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. The National Organization for Competency Assurance is the leader in setting Quality Standards for Credentialing Organizations.”1
